Safety is the most important part of an electrician's work. Working with electricity can be dangerous, so following proper safety rules and understanding safety signs is necessary to prevent accidents and protect lives.


⚠️ Basic Safety Rules Every Electrician Must Follow

Here are some important safety rules:

  1. ✅ Always switch off the power before starting any electrical work.

  2. 🧤 Wear safety gear like gloves, shoes, and helmets.

  3. 🪛 Use insulated tools to prevent electric shocks.

  4. 🚫 Don’t touch live wires with bare hands.

  5. 👀 Check wires and tools before use. Avoid damaged cables.

  6. ⚡ Avoid water while working with electricity.

  7. 🧯 Keep a fire extinguisher nearby, especially CO₂ type.

  8. 📏 Follow proper wiring standards and color codes.

  9. 🆘 Know first aid for electric shock and burns.
