WIREMAN Assessment Criteria
Assessment in the Wireman trade is conducted to evaluate the knowledge, practical skills, and professional attitude of trainees during the training program. The assessment system includes both formative assessment and summative assessment.
Formative Assessment
Formative assessment is conducted continuously during the training period. Instructors evaluate trainees based on their workshop performance, assignments, project work, and participation in practical activities.

Summative Assessment
At the end of the course, trainees appear for the All India Trade Test (AITT) conducted by the Directorate General of Training. The examination evaluates both theoretical knowledge and practical skills acquired during the training program.
Pass Criteria
- Minimum 60% marks in Trade Practical and internal assessment.
- Minimum 33% marks in Trade Theory and other subjects.
Successful candidates receive the National Trade Certificate, which qualifies them to work as skilled technicians in the electrical industry.
