Note: Attempt any three questions. All questions carry equal marks.
- Assemble house wiring including earthing for a 1-phase energy meter, MCB, ceiling fan, tube light, three-pin socket, and a lamp operated from two different positions. Demonstrate the basic functional study of the components used in house wiring.
- Prepare pipe / plate earthing and measure the earth resistance using an earth tester or megger.
- Prepare a decorative light circuit to produce a running light effect.
- Repair the given faulty electric kettle, replace the faulty part if any, and test it for proper functioning.
- Verify the terminals, identify components, and calculate the transformation ratio of a single-phase transformer.
